Proposed Pennsylvania Senate Legislation SB394

this is an anti-gun bill   evalutation

This legislation increases the punishment for 'unsworn falsification' on forms when purchasing firearms. Making a mistake on these complicated firearms sale forms is common and is currently unfairly applied.

Legislation Overview

Title: In falsification and intimidation, further providing for the offense of unsworn falsification to authorities; and, in firearms and other dangerous articles, further providing for persons not to possess, use, manufacture, control, sell or transfer firearms, for licenses and for sale or transfer of firearms.

Subject:

Description: An Act amending Title 18 (Crimes and Offenses) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes, in falsification and intimidation, further providing for the offense of unsworn falsification to authorities; and, in firearms and other dangerous articles, further providing for persons not to possess, use, manufacture, control, sell or transfer firearms, for licenses and for sale or transfer of firearms.
